Peter Powers was born in 1965 in the small Lancashire town of Boltonin North West England.
His fascination with hypnosis began at the age of 12 when he watched an old, black and white movie, featuring a hypnotist, with his younger brother. Peter copied what he had seen and used his brother as a guinea pig to practice on. This new-found hobby put him at odds with his deeply religious parents who thought hypnosis to be connected to the occult. Thus, at 16 yrs of age, Peter had to leave the family home, go out on the road and fend for himself. Skills in hypnosis were the only thing he possessed and within a few years he had built a good reputation as an entertainer around the working men’s clubs of Manchester. Shortly after, larger theatre venues beckoned and Peter was to become a box office success in The UK.

Since then, Peter has become a household name after numerous live shows, tv series’ and appearance’s across The Netherlands, The UK, Australia, Ireland and New Zealand. In 2012, Peter Powers has over 150 live shows booked and two new TV Projects.
