Tuggeranong Vikings Finswimming Club

Finswimming races are like conventional swimming races but much faster! The world mens 100m finswimming surface record is 35.59 secs -The 100m freestyle record is 47.84 secs.

Finswimming uses a big fibreglass monofin driven by both feet. Flippers can also be used. Vikings Finswimming caters for a wide range of ages and abilities.

Vikings Finswimming Club was established in June 1995. The club has had great success and our members have broken many Australian records and won many Australian Championships. Several of our members have also competed at World, Asia and Pacific championships and placed very well. Currently there are 4 Australian Record holders in the club, who are also all part of the Australian Team.

Come and give it a go with us at Tuggeranong Pool on Wednesday evenings 6.30pm to 7.30pm and Sunday mornings from 10.30am to 12.00pm. The club has a number of monofins for club members to use while learning the sport.
