Tuggeranong Vikings Fishing Club
The objects of the club are to foster and encourage the amateur sport of recreational fishing and to promote social intercourse and good fellowship amongst members of the club and others with similar interests.
Club Activities
The club is a family oriented club catering for both fresh water and saltwater anglers. We organise saltwater, freshwater, a family freshwater fishing trip each year, an annual dinner dance and a Christmas party.

Membership
The VFC Inc. is a non-discriminatory organization and welcomes anglers, both female and male, from all backgrounds. A prospective member must be a financial member of the Tuggeranong Valley Rugby Union and Amateur Sports Club Limited. Single and family memberships are available.
Cost of membership is:
- Nomination fee $30
- Single membership $35 p.a.
- Family membership $40 p.a. (covers member’s partner for social activities)
- Fishing Family Membership $70 p.a.
- Boat Owner Levy $30 p.a.
With a focus on family activities, children (under the age of 18 years) of family members are automatically granted junior membership at no cost and are encouraged to participate in all club activities.
Members with boats are encouraged to take them on trips and take other club members along that may not have access to a boat. If members do not have a boat, the Trip Master for the event will endeavor to place you on a boat. Registered boat owners receive recompens in accordance with club rules for fuel used on a club trip.
Meetings
Club meetings are held on the second Tuesday of every month at 7.30pm, downstairs in the Sportsman’s bar, at the Vikings Erindale Club. Guest speakers address members on a variety of topical and technical issues. Potential new members are most welcome to attend.
Trip meetings are held in the fishers’ corner at the Erindale Club at 7.30pm on the Monday night prior to each scheduled trip.
