Tuggeranong Masters Swimming ACT Inc

Tuggeranong AUSSI Adult Swimming Club was formed in August 1986 as the second Club within the ACT Branch. The purpose of AUSSI is to encourage adults, regardless of age or ability to swim regularly to promote fitness, improve their health and to have fun. Services provided include stroke correction, training programs, timed swims, fun events and social events and social activities. AUSSI also supports the development of accredited coaches and safe coaching practices. Competition occurs at the Club, State, National and International levels. Most Clubs throughout Australia hold carnivals, which are well attended by other Clubs. Whilst AUSSI maintains records of fastest times and awards medals at competitions, equal importance is placed on everyone who participates, regardless of ability. 50% of AUSSI members Australia wide do not compete.
