Canberra Surf and Lake Rowing Club

The Canberra Surf & Lake Club was established in 2001 to cater for the Canberra based surf boat rowing members of the Moruya SLSC who have been affiliated as the Vikings Surf Boat Rowing group since the late 1980’s.The club caters for male and female surf boat rowing members aged 17 years and over. Club members compete in both local south coast surf carnivals along with major state and national championship events each year at which the club is a consistent performer on the national stage. The club also regularly competes in the bi-annual George Bass Surfboat Marathon.

How do I join your Club?

The Surf Life Saving season runs from October through April each year. All members are also encouraged to become members of Moruya SLSC as active surf life savers after gaining their surf bronze medallion.

Membership Details

Membership of the club is $65 per annum with a first time joining fee of $10.

Training Schedule

Training is conducted locally in Canberra on weekdays primarily on Lake Burley Griffin with regular weekend training at the South Coast.
