South Tuggeranong Softball Association - Storm Softball Club

Storm Softball Club promotes and offers the games of both Softball and Tee-ball to all members of our community with a heavy focus on participants from the Tuggeranong Valley area. We are a family friendly club that works extremely hard to provide a safe, inclusive and fun environment for all members to enjoy our sport.  We currently participate in the Softball ACT Junior and Senior Competitions catering for players aged 4yrs and above for boys, girls, Men and Women.

We have a long and proud history spanning over  30 years providing our members opportunities to play socially, nationally and internationally.  We have had several players represent the ACT at all age levels and several players go on to represent Australia across several age groups with our current club captain a World Champion on the open men's stage.

As a club we strive to provide the best experience for all our players with a strong commitment to being family focused and fully inclusive.

Juniors Competition
We currently enter teams into HRH u8 and u10 Tee-ball, U12 Softball And HS Softball competitions catering for boys and girls aged from 4 yrs to 17yrs.  All games are played on a Saturday morning at Softball ACT - Walhallow Street, Hawker and range in times from 8:00am to 11:30am.

Our HRH u8 teams play in a modified 6 a side tee-ball game where the focus is on fun and learning the basics, this is a great introduction to our sport and lots of fun for the little ones with games going 45 mins and training  held each Saturday morning before they play.

Our HRH u10 teams play a full version of tee-ball for the first half of the season then move to coach pitch for the second half which is a great stepping stone for our players to learn the skills allowing them to go from a stationary ball to a moving ball, again these teams have a big focus on fun and learning skills and is another great introduction to our sport.

Our Junior softball teams participate in the u12 and HS which cater for ages 13 to 17yrs competition and provide a development pathway into junior rep teams as well as creating strong foundational skills and game knowledge.

We offer come and try registration for new players,  which allows you to come along to a few training sessions and play 2 games before you get hooked and commit to playing.

Senior Women’s Competition
