Help Us Bring The Poplars Club to Life

We are proposing a new venue in Jerrabomberra, The Poplars Club, which is designed to meet the region’s growing needs and provide facilities and services that promote families, local sports and social connections.

Planning for The Poplars Club is well underway and the updated development application is now on Public Exhibition on the QPRC website until 6 March 2025.

We’d like to invite you to our Public Exhibition located in Nonna’s Kitchen at the Campbell & George, Queanbeyan from 21 February until 6 March 2025. Our Public Exhibition is open continuously daily from 10am and we encourage you to drop in, review the project plans and provide us with invaluable feedback.

Project representatives will be available to answer any questions at the following times:

  • Friday 21 February, 10am – 12noon

  • Saturday 22 February, 10am – 12noon

  • Wednesday 26 February, 7pm – 8:30pm

  • Thursday 27 February, 7pm – 8:30pm

  • Friday 28 February, 10am – 12noon

  • Saturday 1 March, 10am – 12noon

We appreciate the positive feedback we’ve received so far and want to ensure this enthusiasm is shared with the Queanbeyan-Palerang Regional Council and other key decision makers.

  1. Email your supportive submission (quoting “Support for DA.2023.0635” in the subject heading) including your reason(s) for support to council@qprc.nsw.gov.au; OR

  2. Give your reason(s) for support via an online submission; OR

  3. Click the button below to send a pre-filled email, check the information, add your reason(s) for support and sign off with your full name.

It only takes a minute, and your voice will have a real impact in demonstrating community support for the development. Please note submissions must be sent no later than 6 March 2025.
