Vikings Affiliate Club 2025 Scholarship Recipient: Brodie Buxton and Reid Stewart

Meet Brodie Buxton, a determined BMX rider who continues to push boundaries in his sport.

In the 2024 ACT/NSW State Series for 17-24 Men, he finished 13th overall and delivered strong performances at other competitions, including a 2nd place finish in Open Division 1 at the Club Series. At the ACT State Titles, he placed 9th overall in his category, and his resilience and drive ensure he remains a formidable competitor.

Brodie’s journey reflects his commitment to growth and success in BMX racing.

Meet Reid Stewart is a fierce competitor in the BMX world and continues to impress with his accomplishments.

In 2024, he claimed 1st place in Series 1 of the Open Division 1 at the club level. At the state level, he earned 2nd place in the NSW/ACT State Series for 16 Boys and 3rd at the NSW State Titles in the same category.

Reid also demonstrated his strength against older competitors, finishing 5th in the Junior Super Class Men’s division of the NSW/ACT State Series.

With his sights set on even greater success, Reid is a rider to watch.
