Sarah is stepping into the Venue Manager position at Erindale Vikings

We’re excited to announce that Sarah, who has done an incredible job as Acting Venue Manager at Erindale Vikings over the past year, has now officially stepped into the permanent role of Venue Manager. 

Sarah's passion, dedication, and commitment to both the club and the local community is evident, making this a natural and exciting transition. 

During her time as Acting Manager, Sarah has demonstrated exceptional leadership, fostering a welcoming environment for staff and members. Her strong connection to the local community has further solidified Erindale Vikings as a true hub of connection and belonging. 

And since you'll be seeing more of Sarah, we thought it’d be the perfect time to help you get to know her better. Let’s jump into some fun questions:

What’s one of your favourite memories at Erindale?
“Oh wow... there are so many memorable moments! But if I had to choose, it would be reopening after COVID and finally seeing the smiles on everyone’s faces again - both our team and our members. It was such a special feeling”  

Can you share a fun fact about yourself that might surprise the club members?
“Adrenaline junkie through and through—I've been skydiving, love a thrilling roller coaster, and even leaned back over the edge of the Q1 building in Queensland! Only regret? Not bungee jumping in New Zealand... but that’s definitely on my list for next time!” 

In your new role, what are some goals or visions you have for Erindale Vikings?
“I'm looking to bring our outdoor Beer Garden to life with a vibrant atmosphere and exciting summer promotions”
