Every Wednesday at Erindale Vikings we have the absolute joy of enjoying the company of the Wednesday Butterflies.

A group of amazing women who have supported each other in more than just their pursuit of the perfect stitch for over 20 years. The artwork these Ladies produce is amazing and each piece tells a story. Blankets for their Father’s laps, quilts for their newest grandchild’s cot or a gift for a niece on their Wedding day. However, this group is not just about productivity.

These Ladies have helped solve the problems of the world and those that they love with the support and counsel of the people who have also become good friends. Some of our staff have even been known to seek advice when it comes to their own teenage daughters . . .

The Wednesday Butterflies (or as they call themselves, the old Bogon Moths or Stitch and Bitch) are here for several hours every week and work on a variety of different stitching techniques. Their skills range from expert to beginner and we enjoy seeing their finished artworks.

Why have they chosen Vikings??? Because they feel safe, they know they are welcome and they love our coffee!
