National Schools Tree Day

Friday 29 July is National Schools Day and the Vikings Group is proud to have promoted and supported the day across the Tuggeranong Valley 🌱

Over 16 schools and 3,500 students in the Valley have received packets of Crimson Bottlebrush seeds to plant and help grow.

The Crimson Bottlebrush is a native sturdy evergreen shrub that produces the most flowers when it’s in full sun and attracts both native birds and bees. To help with the planting, the seed packets themselves are recycled from commercial office paper and are biodegradable.

We hope the schools have fun today planting their seeds and we look forward to seeing the blooming “Vikings Red” flowers all over the Valley in the coming years.

If your school or community group would like some packets to plant, please reach out to community@vikings.com.au ✨
